How do you all eat the same thing everyday?

I was just wondering how everyone that does eat the same thing everyday. Is this the only way to get a great body. Im only 21 and in college and i have been eating the same stuff everyday for the past months and im getting pretty tired of all the food i eat. Especially chicken breasts. Anyone else going through the same problem? Im only going to live once right. So why not change it up a little. Am i wrong?
    thanks all

Hell no man. I dont eat the same stuff day in and day out.
I just make sure i just get my ratios, cals protein carbs etc into a certain range then im golden.

For example, since im on the keto one meal ill have scrambled eggs with swiss cheese
another ill have hailbut with lemon slices in olive oil
    another ill have grilled tbone

Man shake things up. Just make sure you dont go overboard.
Read the thread in the keto board : Anyone lose without counting calories.

i eat basically the same thing everyday, although im always adjusting my diet, making small changes, and try low-impact changes, like im trying splenda and cinnamon on my oats at the moment, while its not a perm change, its just something to try! and mix things up a bit

when i reach my goal i plan to make a couple of bigger changes but nothing really drastic untill then

Hey you can also try ckding. I mean even if you eat the same during the low carb phase, during the carbup you can vary quite a bit.

You don't have to eat the same exact foods every single day. The important thing is to keep a food log and record your nutritional totals as well as your ratios. You can substitute wisely so that you're not stuck eating like a robot every day. For example: You can substitue chicken for tuna or turkey; and rice for potatoes; and so on and so forth.

I've never eaten the same thing day in and day out, but I HAVE always kept a food log, and I've always had success in achieving my goals.

    Good luck to you,

I eat the same foods at the same times everyday. I just find it easier to stick to a schedule and not have to leave anything up to guess work. Yeah, it gets boring some times, but that is a sacrifice I am willing to take if it means reaching my goal (which is to be around 8% bf, I'm around 12% at the moment at 220lbs, but I will reach my goal!)

I've had no problems reaching my bodybuilding goals by following the outline in my previous post. But, it's true, some people find it easier to eat the same foods every day. Personally, I don't feel it's necessary if you know how to properly manipulate variables and wisely substitute. If done correctly, your totals at the end of the day will remain the same, regardless.

i eat pretty much the same thing everyday, but when it starts to get old, i try different seasonings and stuff like that to give it a different taste.

Eating is one of the finer aspects of life.... you shouldn't lose sight of that. It is very possible to eat a very structured healthy diet and still have some amazing food.

The best thing to do is learn the nutrional facts about as many whole foods as possible, and then learn how to cook. If you know what you are putting in your food, and you know how to prepare it, it is really easy to get that perfect macro breakdown without sacrificing taste/quality/healthfulness.

I cook at least two meals a day breakfast and dinner, and they are always something different and tasty.

LOL..... you make me wanna laugh. I don't make fun of you but actually that question is so real! I eat my mix-green salads + salmon with fat free dressing 5 days a week for lunch plus the main course. You can get protein not only from chicken. Salmon/tuna, lean beef, turkey are also good sources of protein. Try to read "The Perricone Prescription" book, hope it can help you!

Discipline reigns supreme. It's sometimes funny to see other people with no self control just endulging in foods that are no good. My logic is this "As long as I know what it tastes like, why eat it?"

Now don't get me wrong, every now and then I like to go out and eat a cheat meal or have something thats not as clean as usual. But my cheat meals are usually cleaner than the average person's food.

My diet sort of rotates but for the most part it's like this:

0700 - 5 egg whites, 1 cup oatmeal with raisins, Fresh fruit, Bagel with lowfat cream cheese(Bagel depends on if I just did for PT), Multivitamin, Cup of coffee..

    1000 - Protein bar

1300 - Lunch.. Meat, white rice, vegees, wheat bread slices x4

    1530 - Powerbar(need carbs

1800 - Meat, Rice, Vegees.. Adrenaline Stack drink by ABB

2030 - Gatorade mixed with creatine/glutamine...Post workout shake, 1 cup oatmeal with raisins

2200 - 1/2 - 1 cup of Low Fat Cottage cheese, multivitamin, ZMA

The diet varies but this is what I have had success with. I have muscled up a lot with it. Oh by the way I work 7am-7pm 3 or 4 days a week but make sure I get my 4 weight workouts in and usually run 3 times a week...

It's all about what you are willing to sacrafice for the end goal. My goal isn't to be a bodybuilder, more like a LL Cool J type of build. I'm on the way, 5'10 and 180 at about 8% bodyfat

I watch weaker people who cant control themselves.. helps motivate me

I find routine makes it a lot easier. I hardly have any time to spend on my food preparation, so the fact that I eat the same thing every day (during the week) means I can fit it around my work and training more easily.

    Perspective!

When you look at food as what fuels your body instead of eating for satisfaction, it won't matter what you eat. I have a list of about 30 foods that I eat a combination of every day. People who say they can't eat the same thing every day need a different perspective.

I have eaten at least one can of albocore tuna every day for the past 6 months, dry. I don't eat it to please my taste buds or the feeling I get in my stomach, but for the good it does for me.

Just eat the foods you want to fuel your body every day for a couple weeks, then you will be on auto pilot and not even think about eating junk.

Personally, having a cheat day for me is counter productive, it could knock me off track and reset my taste buds for junk.. and McDonalds has spent a fortune on (chemically) creating foods that are addictive and pleasing taste wise to the palatte.

habit, try your best to eat the same thing every day for at least 2 weeks and your mind will sorta program itself to follow the diet more willingly. Just like lifting, if you go to the gym for many days not missing a workout, it will grow on you and will be a habit in not time, similar to the runners who has to get up and run every morning or else they'll feel something is wrong.

also , sometimes you dont have to be so strict on your diet , you can deviate a little and have an extra protein shake instead of oats or tuna . And have small cheat meals a few times a month .

If you're getting sick of chicken breasts, try differenet marinades.

I have Carribean jerk w/papaya juice, key lime, a Kenyan (white wine base) marinade, a another papaya-based marinade, mustard bbq, Tennessee whiskey bbq, habanero bbq, watermellon bbq, etc...

Marinades also help block the formation of carcinogens on grilled meat, so they're a good investment. Use chicken tenders for better taste.

There are definitely ways to spice things up. Lemon pepper, garlic (both antioxidants).

I eat 6 cans of albocare tuna a day and I crave it. I feel once you eat the same foods long enough, they really begin to grow on you, and you're cravings begin to accomadate for their taste only.

I spend about three hours cooking every Sunday. I don't have time to cook three meals a day, seven days a week; and this way, all my food for the week is prepared and ready to eat. I measure/weigh out the portions and package up the food into containers and store it in the fridge, grab it as I go. No excuses for going to work (or anywhere for that matter) without healthy food. No excuses to miss a meal. No excuses to eat crap.

Some people might say that my method is tedious, time-consuming. But really, isn't sacrificing three hours of your weekend worth an entire week of healthy, clean food? Not to mention a lifetime of a muscular, lean, killer physique?

    Great gains to you all,
