just wondering because i heard someone say they eat 4,000 to 5,000 calories a day when bulking that sounds like most of your gains would be fat so how much do you eat when bulking

Sorry but I respectfully disagree...If you wanna eat slightly over maintenace you will gain lean muscle slowly but if you wanna gain real size you have to eat...Simple as...I've gained 27 lbs in just over 7 weeks with very little or no noticible fat gain...Diets are person specific as what works for one doesn't work for every...If your a ecto you gain or laose differantly than endo...140 lbs at 5'5 or 5'6 in small...If thats what your looking for than by all means keep eating the way your eating but if you wanna gain size than up your calories...

Yes...I've done it on two seperate occasions...Not gonna try and prove I'm right as the proof is in the pudding...I'm not into internet fights just trying to help the guy gain some weight. Thanks for the negs CajunPballer... ? for ya...If you practice what you preach and it works sooo well, shouldn't you be a bit bigger...The reason your still tiny is you lack the basic knowledge of diets.

I have plenty of knowledge in the area of nutrition. I am studying nutrition and physiology at LSU. I am small because I have only been lifting for two years and started at 80lbs. I also have a growth hormone deficiency. Get the **** out of my section you ignorant old man.
You still never replied as to how you feel 5000 calories of "good" food will contribute any less to fat than 5000 calories of "junk."

Again that is dependant on the individuals body type...A endo can eat 5000 calories of **** and gain a ton of fat while a ecto eats 5000 calories of same said crap and not gain any visible fat...Might have just mistaken what you where questioning. If both endo and ecto eat 5000 cals of good food they will both get good result. Meso's don't count as they are all fcku wads...
