Dunno about mixing them...
but when I took NO2 the only thing I noticed was that I got hard even easier than normal so it was sorta like viagra
In GNC's "NO2 is the best supplement ever" book they list viagra like side effects as a benefit of NO2, only bit of truth I found in the bookCutting - 6' 3" - 28 yrs
Jan 10th - 219 lbs (end of winter dirty bulk)
July 30th - 192lbs - Approx 9% bf

I've heard that the functions of NO2 and viagra are totaly different. Do a search for viagra and I'm sure this exact same topic has been discussed a few times.
----------------- EDIT------------------------
Here is a post from our buddy Patrick Arnold:
Even if it does increase NO (arginine orally does, don't know what's in Byrds product), so what? NO is one of the (if not THE) most abundant signalling molecules in the body, involved in nearly any system, cell, tissue, pathway you can name.
NO increases blood flow to muscles, it also inhibits lipolysis, its involved in thousands of other reactions.
I don't see any way that you can control where such a product would have an effect.
And note that Viagra works by inhibiting the NO degrading enzyme in the dick (I imagine impotent old man Vic ****e knows all about Viagra), and said degrading enzymes tend to be tissue specific (i.e. there are 5 or more different phosphodiesterase enzymes, which are found in somewhat tissue specific fashion, meaning that you can target specific tissues with specific inhibitors) which is why its effects can be more localized.Last edited by Veritas; 03-11-2004 at 05:54 AM.

besides getting boners, the actual supplement of No2, did it help u get big?{in the arms, chest, ect.}
Depressed?
Don't have any friends?
I guess nobody told you,
but being depressed and feeling lonely isn't normal.
Everyone else is happy,
and has lots of friends
so there must be something wrong with you.
Put the prozac away,
what you need is rat poison.

I've been on NO2 & did viagra.....no problems besides being able to bone 4-5x within like 5 hours. I would just possibly space out that dosage so you are not taking the viagra too close to your NO2 intake.
Viagra sometimes doesnt' work for people - also, there could be some unpleasant side effects to viagra - so read up on it. I havent' experienced any - but - you should be informed.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Not a good idea to mix them.
Together they can lower the blood pressure too much and cause a stroke. Same effect as taking V with nitrates.I bet Ronnie C's piss still has enough gear in it that they could bottle it for a supplement!

How NxLab Products and the Right Attitude Changed my Life
I start out with the NxLab products about 3 months ago with the 21 day program that inlcudes the three bottle package. I held on to the product for a few months because I was unsure of how my body would respond to the product and to be quite honest I didn't want to become overly dependent on supplements in my fitness program.
After using Aminol, Anavol, and the Nitro T3, I have not looked back. I have struggled for years with maintaining definition in my fitness goals but I will never use anything else but the NxLab products. My workouts are balanced with Boxing and Weight training with more of an emphasis on the boxing because of my personal opinions about the importance of endurance for older athletes.
Mass has not been my major objective in my fitness goals. Definition has been more of my focus and I am very pleased with the NxLab products. Simply put: THEY WORK !
One thing I must emphasize in taking supplements is that no one's body will respond to supplement with out proper nutrution and I am learning how to eat right everyday. Eating right does not happen over night when you have been conditioned with poor nutrition habits over the years. I eat pretty much anything I want but of the things I do eat I try to limit as much as possible food that have been prepocessed. Fruits and vegetable are and essential part of my nutrition regimine with an emphasis on berries and peppers. Freezing fruit for smooties are my favorite
Anyway, that was my product review of the NxLab products and a few helpful tips for being physically fit. Alot of people post comments about how important it is for them to look good and I am not sure what they mean. The only thing I would like to say is that if your goal is to only look good on the outside, then you will have a difficult and ardous task in accomplishing optimum health. Your willingness and humility in sharing your desire to see others living healthy will take you further in your own accomplishments than any sets or reps you complete on your own.
One last comment I want to make is to encourage people to "get their spirits right" Stop making excuse for being unhappy and living in an unhealthy body. Start the new year out with making a commitment to you health because when you do you will be a changed person forever. Ask others for help at the gym when you want to know how they got to where they did because, for most people fitness is not something that occurs overnight. They had to work hard and stay commited as well to achieve their fitness goals. And most importantly commit to an exercise that you enjoy. Don't start something that you will eventualy grow tired of. I stay committed by being involved in multiple physical activities including cycling, swimming, boxing (my favorite), snowboarding, and this summer I am going to learn how to surf. All of these activities keep both my mind and body motivate for optimum physical health.
Best wishes to you all for a healthy and happy 2009.
Michael

whoever said it was the same effects as nitrates is wrong.
NO2 and viagra work differently but somewhat synergistically. nitric oxide is a naturally occurring gas in the body that leads to vasodilation (makes your blood vessels bigger). viagra is a pde5 (phosphodiesterase-5) inhibitor. PDE5 breaks down nitric oxide, so by inhibiting pde5 you get more nitric oxide and thus more vasodilation (specifically in the corpus cavernosum in the penis. cool.). That's why when you take NO2, you'll notice an increase in bonerfication.
"Nitrates for chest pain" is nitrogylcerin. This is an incredibly powerful vasodilator that they have people with heart problems take at the first sign of a heart attack, to try to dilate their blood vessels and restore bloodflow to the heart... it's way more potent than nitric oxide, although they do have the same mechanism of action. NO2 / nitrates = sparklers / fireworks
basically...unless you have a pre-existing problem with low blood pressure, or if you're taking nitrates WITH no2 WITH viagra, it shouldn't cause any problems.
EDIT: just to qualify, by "problems" i mean you probably won't have a serious hypotensive crisis and go into shock. you'll probably notice an increase in the common side effects on viagra (flushing, headache, etc).Last edited by jblaisuri; 12-27-2008 at 08:02 AM. Reason: expanding on my point
