    Inspire M3

I just had my Inspire M3 delivered and set up today. All I can say is "WOW". This thing is incredible. Talk about a precision piece of equipment. Smooth beyond belief.

The brand is Inspire. They are a relatively new company. They are the guys that used to own Pacific Fitness before they sold to Precor.

Congratulations! You're going to love it. Like I said previously, it is as smooth as can be. There are a lot of positioning adjustments to really find the "sweet spot" for each exercise. I spent a couple of hours just messing around with each movement and writting down the positions. The are adjustments for the seat, both vertically and horizontally as well as the angle of the back pad.

The leg ext./curl has multiple adjustments on the cam and the press arm has many adjustments. The leg curl has to be set just right for your leg length but once you figure it out, it's a perfect movement. The leg extension is as good as any high-end dedicated leg extension I've tried.

It is worth the time experimenting to find out what feels best for your body mechanics.

I picked up a 24"x36" frame today for the laminated wall chart and hung it next to the machine (I needed something to put on my gym walls anyway)...

Let me know how you like it.

    Take Care

Just found a review of it http://training.fitness.com/fitness-...m-2-10669.html Hard to believe it's made in China (to US specs). It looks either German or Italian made from the pics. With the way I train, I have no use for something like that, but like someone said before "it sure is purdy".

Wow. Three grand for 200 pounds of resistance. I'm sure it's very nice, but I still think the fundamental concept of these home multi-gym machines is deeply flawed.

Looks like a quality piece of equipment but with all the adjustment handles and knobs it looks like it's as much a mental workout as a physical one.

MSRP is $2995 for the Base Machine. I paid 20% less plus $200 for delivery and assembly.

I also recently added their new Iso-Lateral Leg Press with I believe lists for $899 but I paid $636.00 (a friend of mine works for an Inspire Dealer). The Iso-Lateral version of their leg press isn't shown on their web-site yet so here is a photo:

    TSG2513,

How difficult is it to move the M3 around if you need to? We would like to buy one, but know that we'll have to move it around as we finish our basement in a year or so. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance for your response.

How well does the cross pin work to lock it as a single unit?
We are buying the M4 in the Spring and wondering if we should go ahead and suck it up and get the leg press now, or wait until they get MORE expensive

ive had my m3 for a while now. it was a mofo to set up. took about 5 hrs after work ! haha. but i pump on this thing everyday. it has alot of adjusments which takes a little getting used to, but i switch through different movements effortlessly. the thing i like about it the most is the cables. one low, one medium, and one high heights. i attach the hand grip to them and do all sorts of weighted movements, and flys. this thing excersices all muscles on my body pretty much.

does anyone have any pics, of body results from these machines?

Great machine. Enjoy it! As far as results, it is all about training hard, being consistent and eating clean. I have gotten into contest shape (just placed 6th in the Drug-Free Nationals Middleweight Class, Open Division at close to 51 years old) training on this type of machine, a Functional Trainer and a few other machines and have hardly used any free-weights (other than DB's) for years.
