It can be used every workout but I would strongly recommend doing it for every set and every exercise on a regular basis or if you already have an aggressive routine. I usually throw in maybe 2-4 drop sets per workout tops. But then again some days I go all out. Just listen to your body and don't over-do it. I used to love drop sets but recently I've found greater pumps with supersetting the right exercises. Favorite one I've been doing is dumbell arnold shoulder press supersetted with lateral raises. The pump is insane
