    Doing the splits! (2)

    This sticky thread presents splits where a muscle group is trained only once a week.
    However, the kinguy at my gym is telling me that a one week rest would be too long for a proper stimulation of the muscle for mass gain... He suggest to train a muscle at least twice a week.
    Is it like a old vision thing or is he right? What do you think?

    If you hit the muscle hard and eat right than once a week should be enough.
