    is water neccessary with Creatine?

Ive read that you should drink at least 8-10 cups of water per day when loading creatine. Should my water intake remain the same even if I'm not loading? I'm really not much of a water drinker. Is it liquid that flushes out your kidneys?? Or is it solely water?

First of all, the whole reason creatine has an "affect" is due to water......it is nothing more than water retention......so if you are using creatine, you must drink alot of water.....

water is hands down the most important "supplement" while bodybuilding and exercising......some may say protein is the most important, but they are wrong...

Aim for about a gallon of water a day, everyday....It sounds like alot, but I used to hate water and I would never drink it (long ago)......but now I drink anywhere from 1-1.5 gallons of water everyday

YES it is a cell volumizer. it actually will take the water and put it into the muscle cells. You will and can become dehydrated if you don't drink enough water , This is why they have news articles about idiots dehydrating on creatine. They use it and do not drink at all. also creatine is natural forming from steaks and other meats.

I hate posts like that, saying all creatine does is give you water retention. At least give more detail.

Creatine does cause water retention, it volumizes the cell which helps with protein synthesis and helps recovery, because more nutrients can pass through the cells. The creatine provides more ATP as well...

    ok.......

I don't know about you, but for me, money doesn't grow on trees...Creatine is one of the biggest scams in the supplement market today....The reason why people can't see that is because they swear by it and will defend it at great lengths......

Creatine's "results" can come no where near to the results of a great diet....

and besides, you get all the creatine you need eating red meats, so anything more than that is flushed through your urinary track.

There is no need to argue with me......people just have different opinions
