Your body can only use so much protein in a given day. If you weigh 130 the max I would eat would be 200 grams a day if that. After you get your 1 gram per pound of bodyweight it is more important to work on getting the whole spectrum of vitamin, nutrients, and calories up in numbers rather than just blasting protein.
Peace

flip it
lower protein when bulking, you dont need as much of it, what you need are calories and if you take in more protein than your body can possibly use for repair then you body will go and use calories that would be better used for repair to break down protein into glucose. This creates a fewer availbe cals, and in the end you'll still have the same amoun of protein as if you had just eaten less, yet at the expense of calories. When cutting however this is optimal, so then raise protein.
The human body is quite effecient at using protein, for that reason you really dont need more than 1g of complete protein per pound of body weight. Anything above that and possibly even that causes your chances of calories to be used in gluconeogenesis to increase.Nathan

Being all that I can be is simply not good enough. I will be better.
Body building is 40% lifting, 40% diet and 40% sleep. And it's always going to be 120% dedication.
Power lifters eat to help them lift.
Body Builders lift to help them eat.

i tried 2 grams years ago but had no greater gains."Pavel calls the idea of training yourself in isolated pieces "Frankenstein training" and I don't think I can come up with a better term. The body is one piece." Dan John

I weigh 250lbs and I eat 250-300 most days, 300-450 on lifting days.
I'm proof that genetics don't have to hold you back and anything is possible.
Dieting is not the answer, that’s just a short-term fix. To make a lifelong transformation you need a sustainable lifestyle. One that allows you to both eat what you love and lose weight.
Create your own custom plan, one that is not too restrictive because you have to enjoy it. Otherwise pain and motivation fall quickly when we are miserable.
