Im looking for lifting straps that i used once at the gym. They were awesome.
Ill try and describe them.
Both ends of the strap are round. You put your wrist through the hole, then place the strap around the bar, then put your wrist throught the other hole.
Ive seen heaps of straps around with one end being the place where your wrist goes but the other end is always just a length of cloth that you wrap around the bar.
Anybody knw, first of, what im talking about, and secondly, where i could get them from? I link to a site perhaps? thanks

I'd avoid the straps & hooks. They will only hurt your grip strength.
as long as you work on your grip/forearms sometime during your split, then i don't believe that it will really hurt you in the long run.
if you can deadlift 405 but need straps, wouldnt it hurt you more to not use straps but only DL 315? i believe it would.
but i do agree dont go using it on every freaking set. if your grip reaches failure before you bodypart, then use them. if your using them "because its easier", then get the straps off your hands and dont use them until you need them.

I thought that was on orders of $75 or more.
I spent $15 the other day and still got free straps.
The $75 or more is for the free shaker bottle/towels etc I think.WOW, STRONG TEA - MY BRUV FITNESSMAN

i disagree to an extent.
