Thought this was an excellent thread, really makes me happy to see people who still believe in "rest days". Aside from CT Fletcher being incredibly motivational, his blog about overtraining not existing really made me question his credibility.

Thanks for breaking it down Abdominator!

    P.S I think 16+7=23 though lol.

What do i eat on supplements to build mass and when do i take my protein shake?
Supplements i use (Carnivor mass) (Stak animal) (C4 pre-workout). I wont buy new ones because i font have money for it but from what a Personal trainer told me these are best for me.

I need help on what to eat since i know a few things but not alot. Id appreciate the help.

I eat whatever my mom gives to eat and they try to cook more veggies and lean meats because my dad and mom have heart issues so i eat whatever they eat. But here is the thing how many times do i eat. I have a really high metabolism and i go to college and which you know, fast food everywhere so i cant really eat. Im hungry every 2 hrs. I just need help.on what to eat every now and then because im trying to gain
I started going to the gym 7 days ago and started taking supplements as well. Im not sure if im suppose to be gaining anything right now but so far my weight is 142 at a hungry stomach.
    5'8. Age:22 waist:31

I also need advice on when to take my shake. I usually just drink it on post workouts. Do i take it on rest days or when specifically. Stak animal i take a packet everyday.
Shake:4 scoopas, 1/3 oatmeal, almonds, water, banana.
Im doing workouts till i fatigue/ try and go all out.
    Any ideas for workouts too.

Goal: 165-173 lbs ripped and i do MMA so its necessary i gain for a future fight in 6 months.

Any help i would appreciate? Im new to this forum and thank you for reading this.
-- I read the article but vague and just need guidance, shouldnt i do more than 2 sets? I could do more sets? Im not straight up weak or unathletic.

on what to eat homie? SIMPLE clean whole some foods. i know the struggle of trying to find those bodybuilding foods because parents not buying the qualities needed but: rice, potatoes, whole egg, egg whites, peanut butter, cottage cheese, oatmeal instant quaker, fruits, obviously your greens(:, whole milk, Oikos blend yogurts, whole wheat bagels, the list goes on and on bro

Talking It's not so hard bro

People think it is so difficult to build mass. I see in the comments "steroids" or think that gains are not achievable in such short times.. honestly with commitment, persistence and a good program you can transform in 3 months.. there's websites like ( musclegaincorps dot C0M ) that have the best free advice for beginners to start building mass, the right diets and workouts to do etc.. if you stay consistent you will have no problem making gains.
