Eating out has become way too expensive, so I've held off on tipping. Instead, I give life tips—you should try it. Just left Texas Road and spent $150 and still hungry. You'd want me to give almost $200 with tip, voluntarily, lmao. The waiter looked at me with disgust. Stop increasing you’ll prices then.

Always tip crew.
The closer we approach the uncertainty of life's ending the more we wish to trade all of the things we have acquired in exchange for all of the things we have lost: wealth for youth, knowledge for fresh curiosity, resignation for hope. We'd trade our wisdom for new experiences, but it is wisdom that will teach us that at the end of the road the only new experience is death.

10% for waiters, nothing for anyone else. That's how I've always tipped and will continue
Only two complaints. A pajeet taxi driver who asked about a tip. I laughed and said "nice try". Another waiter at a bar who asked what was wrong with his service. I said "nothing, why?" He said the tip was small so I told him I can make it smaller, then he shut up and stormed off. (He hadn't taken the money yet when I said that, but saw the amount I set down)You're a phаggot

i'll double the tax if it's a chain restaurant and i'm just getting food and beers.
the longer my glass is empty the less generous i am at the end of the night.
when they see me almost done and ask if i want another of the same or try something else every time i feel that is exceptional service.
we took my mom out for her 81st birthday.
6 of us.
waitress took care of us, was very nice to my mom and brought her a little cake and sang happy birthday.
this wasn't a chain restaurant.
it was a local place.
she got a nice tip.

Well I think everyone should stop tipping awhile because businesses are already lowballing hourly pay for inflation. So maybe if all the waiters/waitress and other employees started refusing to work they would be forced to reevaluate the pay.
Tips shouldn't be a mandatory thing, was never intended to be an guaranteed thing as part of someone's salary. It was meant to just be a bonus if they went above and beyond.. Now the government and businesses even want a slice of that.

Thats very semitic of you, OP....
If you're going to be a cheapass, then don't go to a place where waiters rely on tips, and then fukc THEM over.
Waiters don't set prices, and live off the current system. If you don't like the system, then don't participate.MАGА 2024. I rep pаtriots, and neg anti-american phægots. "You have given out too much Reputation in the last 24 hours, try again later." most of the day, but I give when I can.

Nah, when I'm paying $15 for a sandwich that it costs them $2 to make, and using my gas to pick it up, hell no. Cant even go to the grocery store without being asked "do you want to round up for charity?". Everywhere you go, everything you do, there's some guilt to donate or tip. It's so ridiculous.

Little known federal law mandates if servers do not make enough in tips to equal what minimum wage would have been, the business has to make up the difference.
I imagine it is pretty difficult for a young ignorant server to demand their employer adhere to federally mandated employee rights though. They will literally just get fired and have no understanding of how to protect themselves.
Everyone should quit tipping. Then the business’ would have to pay their employees instead of creating this weird entitled conflict for *******s (on both sides of the argument) to participate in.
Yes we get it, you are better than servers. Absolutely not a commoner. They should be grateful for the opportunity to serve you.I only read thread titles and my own posts.

Tipping is out of control, I'm done with it.
The last time I tipped was at the "Japanese" Teppan Steakhouse. The place was actually owned by Koreans who are stealing Japanese culture. And the chefs that performed all those neat tricks like flipping knives and making onion ring volcanoes were Mexican.
Now imagine: a Japanese restaurant owned by Koreans and employs Mexican performance chefs... NO THANK, JEFF. This is racial deception. I tipped but now I regret it. I won't be going back there.Everything I post is satire.
