- the claim that a kid will not report abuse because of the death penalty, lacks any kind of logic or understanding of the problem. most children are abused by people they know and trust, like a family member. so shes making the assertion that a kid wont come forward because he or she doesnt want to see uncle willie die.

what she fails to realize is that most children are abused at an age where they are not aware the abuse is abuse or dont know its abuse due to trust. if they cant understand that the abuse is abuse, then they certainly are not going to know what the states punishment is for it.

Should we do that with anybody who has life without parole? I don't feel strongly one way or another on the death penalty vs life without parole issue. What's unfortunate is if they get exonerated later. At least they have another chance at life if they aren't executed.

Lets say the average cost to keep an individual is 40k per year. Lets say they are incarcerated for 50 years until they die. That's 40k x 50yrs or 2m for the life of a prisoner. You are telling me that it costs up to 300x 2m or 600m per prisoner to execute them?

Their life isn’t taken away. Neither figuratively nor literally. For some people it’s mentally damaging for life, some are able to get relief and closure from therapy, and for some it doesn’t control them at all.

If the criminal is a danger to others after their sentence they can remain in prison. For the others cut theirs dicks off and they can never diddle another kid. Also take their balls so they no longer produce testosterone which will kill their sex drive.

The victim gets retribution in the best moral possible way short of murdering them.

Most of you act like over emotional women when it comes to this subject.
