Thread is interesting to read and talk about whether you like OP or not. To everyone posting "nobody cares," would you rather the misc continue to post thread after thread about Muzzepress's butthole and the countless other worthless threads posted day after day on the misc?

Sue my daughter? She didn't do the 5150--the ER did. They just wanted to give me a benzo and leave, which is what they always do when you have severe anxiety. Then the problem would just return in a few hours. I wouldn't trust myself with a gun ever. Never have, never will.
Exactly. Who wants to read about it?
Sometimes I think it's surreal I was even there now that I'm back in my daily routine. It's like WTF just happened?
You really can't harm yourself there as they take everything away from you that would cause you to do that. It's supposed to be safe for people who have breakdowns for divorce, working long hours, a horrible boss, life after 50 as a never married man, etc.
We all know a manager can make your life hell or happy.
The young lady who was in there for a horrible boss was one of the sweetest and prettiest people you could possibly imagine, but very sensitive and that sensitivity gave her anxiety and depression from a mean manager in the tech world. She had a French accent. I can't imagine people judging her for being there but I'm sure men who would want to get in a relationship with her would.

No nurse Rachet? I'd be disappointed to be in a psych ward without a nurse Rachet or Chief.
I'm over 50 and never have been married. I'm typically congratulated on that by others. I've been to sick to get married. Hope I don't find myself in a psych ward but if I do someday, sounds like a decent place to relax and recoup.
Hope you get to feeling better soon.

So this isn’t your first time ? JSing I’d rather suck it up like a real adult then surrender my constitutional rights like a ****ing criminal and visit those charlatans
I understand you had a bad reaction to meds but still … why not just lock yourself in your room and take 1500mg of Theanine , Ashwugandha or niquil to calm you down ? Srs question
even jager would probably work tbh
I’d still see about suing the hospital because F that if it was a legit 5150 holdSig can't be a novel crew

Coping Strategy 1: Create a post on an internet forum stating that your choice, or forced status, is the best of all. When your choice or status changes, update your opinion of 'best' to align with the change. If any persons challenge your assertion, or present alternatives which they claim are better, be sure to harshly castigate them.

My ex went to one recently. (we are still on good terms) She developed panic attacks where she felt like she couldn't breathe and had chest pains and symptoms of a female heart attack. Turned out to be anxiety. It's no joke, it's not something you can just snap out of or choose to have. Some people fake it, but she wasn't faking it. Her experience she described to be a lot like OP's.
Funny how getting rid of the cell phone and not watching things like news channels along with rest are a key factor in recovery.
Not having a computer at home, no television, putting down my cell phone has helped me a lot. If it wasn't for my cameras that run on the internet and a few other systems I'd cut internet.

After reading all here threads you're concluding that her rights were violated? She's getting off easy and she shouldn't not have an access to a weapon. I'm guessing you probably don't need access to a weapon either.
And lol at the medical advice for an insane person. You think you're the first person whose tried to self medicate for anxiety or a manic episode?Last edited by dabbmw2002; 04-27-2024 at 08:32 AM.

During the Victorian era, females with mental anxiety/depression/panic attacks etc were given the vibrator treatment to orgasm their problems away.

You haven't read my threads on here? I have had a massive anxiety disorder since 2001 and I take 4-5 psych meds prescribed from a psychiatrist.
I don't trust myself with a firearm as I have lost my temper and I put a hole in the closet door permanently 20 years ago. I'm normally a chill person put I push anger down like pushing a beach ball under water.
Is this the same ex with histrionic personality disorder? I remember Miscers said I had it as well.
Severe anxiety just doesn't go away if you meditate. You need to meditate regularly to keep it under control, but when you're at the panic level it just doesn't disappear automatically.
I had it for 14 hours straight a week ago and I meditated for an hour, worked out for an hour put ice on my head and held my breath, and I literally have 12 distress tolerance skills for anxiety from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.
HOLY COW! Why doesn't that surprise me about a Miscer!
I'm not insane. If I was I wouldn't be able to work for top tech companies for 30 years. And no, I'm not a receptionist, yet honestly you couldn't be mentally ill to do that job well when you're greeting customers and executives. I have a Business degree and I was recruited by this company when I was in business school as I purposely took part-time admin jobs at this company while I was going to school to gain experience. Then they hired me as a summer intern and when I graduated.
You would think Millenials and Zoomers would employ such tactics to start their careers, but very few do.
I honestly think that when get my own place my anxiety will diminish by 50-75%. Then when I retire from tech into a less stressful job the anxiety will diminish.
