How do you become rich? I am planning on becoming an engineer making bout ~$70k annually. I’m reading Rich Dad Poor Dad currently. Invest in real estate, S&P 500, stocks etc. What else can one do to become rich? I want to drive a Lamborghini like many out there with a nice house or mansion one day before I get too old for them.
Any advice misc brahs? Srs

There's quite a few financially successful people on the misc, especially throughout the history of the misc.
You have to understand that the misc attracted people, especially in the early days, who wanted to make a name for themselves - so there's defiantely miscers and ex-miscers who are in the top percentile, i.e., millionaires and shredded kunts."It's hard to be yourself in a world filled with haters" - WiseOldApe.
"Why be anything when you can be an influencer?" - WiseOldApe.

"People strive for equality, once they attain it, they fight for superiority" - WiseOldApe.

People who are mentally and emotionally stable are generally better able to be productive members of society - be it financially, socially, or in relationships.
Many people suffer from mental health and emotional issues that act as barriers towards attaining traditional markers of success."It's hard to be yourself in a world filled with haters" - WiseOldApe.

Either side is hard to prove
but for me, when I'm in a relationship, I don't have to worry about girls, trying to get dates, getting sex, etc (gigantic waste of head space)
Instead, without those things taking up space in the mind, I get super focused on moneymaxxing. I'm trying new income streams, I get much more creative to try new money ideas, new business ideas, more easily meet people for networking when I have a gf with me, etc.

while subjective, and assuming single (misc), i figure in a low COL area 1.5-2k a month is what is needed to live (rent, uil, phone, internet, food)
70k is ~4k/mo after taxes
that leaves 2k/mo to play with
easily 1k+ savings and $500-$1k to misc (car related, happy endings)
in a HCOL area, those 1k savings quickly dissolve but there should still be something to play with
that said, someone making 70k probably should not be using uber or doordashtake care misc, it's been fun

This is incredibly sad but I guess it's the American dream in bIdEnS America?
OP, are you working full time? Or is the 70k from working while going on school full time? If your still in school, I would just focus on getting your education and put up with getting 70k annually knowing that will change once you graduate. If you're working part time, then start looking for a full time job.
Save. Invest. Profit.
