Whatever we get from the SC will be better than the bullchit we have now of doing a bunch of illegal chit and then pardoning themselves before they leave office.
Once people stop hyperventilating they will understand that Judicially, Trump will be the most consequential President of all time. This case will be cited from now until the end of dawn.

Pardons are a great tool. But the idea of being able to pardon yourself, family, and friends is unacceptable - massive conflict of interest - and invites corruption using those near pardonable persons as intermediaries. Should have to be arms length.Originally Posted by NYPat

I believe this case will at the bare minimum lay some ground rules to constrain the criminal abuse of the Presidency for all future Presidents.
It may prevent the stealing an election and then pardoning all involved. Or extrajudicialy killing citizens and pardoning all involved. I know those are all far-fetched conspiracy theorys. But under the current rules who’s going to stop it?
