Lol no I've got every herb and spice u can think off in my cupboard and I know whar goes with what.
I'll just give 1 example for a roast chicken marinate it in olive oil some pepper, garlic, rosemary and thyme or if you're making a beef stew a tablespoon of cumin makes all difference.

In my area, a professional chef makes about $55k, which is below our $60k average. I'm guessing though that they also get a portion of the day's tips, overtime opportunities, and free food which helps offset everything.
