    Lean bulk calories

    Hey guys just need a bit of advice

    Im 5 foot 10 140pounds 28 years old looking to lean bulk

    Do you think that around 2500-2700 the sweet spot?

    Usually set my macros up to hit 1gram of protein per pound, fats I keep around 50-80grams and fill the rest with carbs.

    200-300 calories above maintenance is the sweet spot. for some people it's 3500 calories, for others it's 2700

    i guess what i'm saying is that it's impossible to give you a yes/no answer without knowing your maintenance calories

    Macros looks good.

    For calories, pick a number, maybe 2500, and run that for 3-4 weeks. See what happens with your weight. Adjust from there.

    For a lean bulk you want it to go slow, probably 2 pounds a month.

    Eventually you'll figure out where you need to be.

    Here was my diet in graduate school when I made my most gains. I hung out and ate with people on special vitamins.

    Can of tuna.
    Toast with peanut butter, bacon and honey.
    Some fast food that had alot of meat.
    Pizza.
    8-10 oz steak and some potato.
    10-12 beers.

    I think it is a good amount. I used to take care of my eating habits a lot, and all i got is a nervous breakdown in one point. Now i just take it easier, sometimes even ordering something from skip the dishes thunder bay, just small quantities and guess what? My weight is perfect these days.
