The beta played fine last year when I played it. I believe most of the issues was with the infrastructure the game was based on or something, meant they had to rework a bunch of stuff to make it through PS5's approval process

I played the first two betas and it was aight. But if I want to play COD I can just play COD. It was like a jankier version of black ops Cold War or something

Agreed. It's crazy how a lot of games we wanted sequels to finally got sequels post-wokeism and they turned out to be major letdowns. New games based on existing franchises, etc., 99% trash.

Yeah it's why I largely stopped caring about franchises, most of them have been ruined by now or simply abandoned.

Same. The plus side to all of this is it saves me money lol. I used to be into home theaters, surround sound, all the high end stuff, couldn't care any less now. Every time I consider buying a new console, I think twice and just keep my money.

Yeah for me I could just barely maintain enough interest to get into the current console generation, but this has been feeling like the last generation I will really give a chit about being a part of. That said I used to be into PC gaming and I couldn't care less about the latest state of the art hardware people are getting for it. I've got a 5 year old gaming laptop that still suits my needs and I am fine with that and some micro-PC setup I got. I'm cool with just having a nice TV and a basic sound system as all that crazy Atmos chit only works with the latest stuff and I simply don't do enough with that to justify getting serious about it.

But yeah, the lame ass state of gaming these days has definitely been saving me a lot of money. I used to be into getting the latest hyped up games and checking everything out, but now a days it really has to grab my personal interest or show up on Gamepass or I just can't be bothered.

Same. Honestly I think the XBOX ONE platform was basically one giant empty space, there isn't much good on that system, waste of a console entry in this generation. The best stuff for me on XBOne were the remasters lol. Almost got the Xbox Series X for AC6, but...meh, wasn't worth it.

I remember back in the day when games got announced, not only was the tech making leaps and bounds, but also the stories, the characters, the worlds, they were all incredible stuff. First time I saw Gears on Game Trailers I was blown away, same with RE5, Gears 2, on and on...games back there were hit after hit after hit after hit, now they're sh!t after ****! after sh!t.

If we're trying to unwind, we like playing COD: WW2, something about the simplicity and the non SBMM makes it pretty fun.

I bought WWII on release and hated that game lol, I'm over the world war games. I did enjoy prop hunt on it tho. It does have SBMM, it's just sweats have moved on to the latest CODs

Played a game now and played the last beta, it still lacks the gunplay feeling of cod but its not bad, also after all this time in development the lack of tdm mode is a joke

For me Xbox One always stood out for it's Forza games, backwards compatibility with the GOAT 360 library, and 3'rd party games. To be honest that's about 90% of what I play most of the time anyways. PS4 was the biggest disappointment for me that gen, all my favorite games Sony was making in the PS2 and PS3 gen failed to make an appearance for the most part. That said this gen I think both have been pretty disappointing as well. The only essential PS5 game I really like being GT7, then maybe a couple of other cross-gen titles I could easily live without. On Series X it's been Forza Horizon 5 and Flight Simulator for the most part, with a couple other games. Gamepass has become the only subscription I can really justify, it's like I only have so much time to be playing subscription games so I don't see the point in having every subscription, and I hardly ever play games online anyways.

I averaged a 1.5 k/d. Most games I carried my team srs, people started getting better on day 2 tho. It felt like old school Xbox 360 COD style of lobby balancing it was nice. Hit detection needs to be fixed, but imo it's ready for release

I’m just a 1.0 k/d ****ter I guess **** was sweaty mane. Same as cod but I don’t mind it, def wasn’t easy like anti SBMM people were claiming it was going to be like. I only played the Hardpoint/king of the hill mode tho.
