It’s almost unbelievable that we’re at this point. It’s a pile of bullchit, a blatant example of political persecution, a twisted conspiracy designed to strip 75 million Americans of their voice and to strip the leading Presidential candidate of his very freedom. But it’s here. The New York criminal trial of Donald J. Trump.
Jury selection begins Monday, April 15, 2024.
https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/...s/72943357007/
As a reminder, Manhattan voted 87% for Joe Biden in 2020. The chances of Trump getting a fair and impartial jury of his peers is almost zero. This case will end in a conviction, and the elites will leverage that verdict to convince the masses he is a criminal unworthy of office, literally send him to jail and likely re-attempt measures to remove him from the ballot.
The presiding Judge Merchan is a far left activist who donated to Biden and various progressive organizations in recent years. His daughter runs a firm that worked for the Biden-Harris campaign and Adam Schiff. The DA Alvin Bragg ran on platform of locking up Trump and had to stretch the law as thin as possible to even indict on felony charges beyond the statute of limitations. The case was passed up by the feds and two of Bragg’s predecessors. This entire prosecution lies on the testimony of a convicted perjurer Michael Cohen.
The biggest witch-hunt in American history begins tomorrow.

Two-thirds of registered voters say Trump’s hush money charges are serious
Reuters/Ipsos poll finds one-quarter of potential Trump voters say they would not vote for him if he was serving time in prison
https://www.ipsos.com/en-us/two-thir...es-are-serious
Ahead of former President Donald Trump’s trial next week, the latest Reuters/Ipsos poll finds that nearly two-thirds of registered voters (64%) say the charges—for allegedly falsifying business records around hush money to Stormy Daniels and Karen McDougal during the 2016 presidential election—are serious, including 36% who say they are very serious. Registered voters share similar concerns around the other three criminal charges against Trump, including allegedly soliciting election fraud, pressuring Georgia state officials to overturn the presidential election, and illegally removing classified documents from the White House and keeping them at a private home after leaving office. About seven in ten say each of these additional charges is serious, and at least half say each charge is very serious.

The trial lasts for 2 months, so he’s chained to NY. Which means he can’t campaign lmao.
And he’s going to catch a conviction.

I think an interesting question to ask Trump supporters is, if Trump were to be convicted of only 1 of all the charges going on, which 1 would you want it to be?
Some may vote federal charge so if Trump becomes president he absolutely cannot pardon himself from a state charge.Never send a Christian lawyer to go after a Jewish judge.

This IMO is one of the biggest issues with the GOP base digging their heels in for Blumpf in the primaries.
The guys campaign is going to come to a screeching halt for months. Idk what the schedule is for the rest of his trials, but maybe even for the rest of the year.*Sit there and don't know what to do when people sing happy birthday to me crew*

They’re all bullchit cases, but the federal cases are more complicated and voters seem to believe he did something wrong in those. The Georgia case has been spoiled by Fani Willis being a corrupt sloot. So this New York case would be the least damaging by far.
It may actually be the only one that the majority of normies will see right through. New York prosecutors have been unhinged in their legal battles against Trump this year. It just looks like a piling on of chit to see what sticks. A desperate attempt to take Trump down however they can. First they found him liable for raping that mentally ill woman who anyone with 2 brain cells could see never met him.
Then they tried to bankrupt him with the ridiculous Leticia James civil fraud trial, of which nobody lost any money and all the banks were repaid (and testified they’d work with Trump again). That judge got overturned multiple times by the appeals court.
Now this Alvin Bragg criminal trial, which even liberal attorneys have said is a weak case for reasons outlined in my OP.
They have already lost in the court of public opinion. I think a conviction in New York actually exposes them further.

The other thing these people can’t see is Drumpf’s antics are going to become unhinged very shortly, which is going to make independents really think if they want to give this guy another 4 years.
The system is going to grind this guy down. They knew what they were doing making this trial last for 2 months.

Except they have the financial records of the money transferred. Why was Trump using campaign funds to pay a porn star?
He also admitted to paying her, which pretty much seals the deal, kiddo.

Plus, we have Michael Cohen's testimony too.

A grand jury of American citizens thought there was enough to bring a case here. And a jury of American citizens will determine his guilt. And when he is convicted, you will have to make a choice of whether you will uphold America's laws or side with the criminal. And if you use force and side with the criminal, you will become a legitimate military target.
And then, finally, we will be able to wrap all of this up for good, hopefully, and nobody will ever have to think about Trump again except to reminisce about that one time that rich guy tried to destroy America.

High hopes for the uneducated. A politically biased New York grand jury with a DA, working directly with the Biden administration, brought a frivolous case against Trump. A jury of New York residents, all of whom are far left and hell-bent to get Trump have already made up their minds.
"Wrap this up for good." You really believe that this charade will bury Trump? Are you a jury member? Have you seen the evidence? Are you saying a trial is not necessary since you believe he is guilty? You also believed in the 4-year Russia Hoax, too, right? You were hoaxed by your own party, lmao.Helping one person may not change the world, but it could change the world for one person.

Merchan already addressed all of that when he denied their order to dismiss. Look at page 11 and 14.
Merchan ruled that prior NY cases allowed federal crimes to be the "other crime," even when NY has no jurisdiction over federal crimes. Trump merely had to have the intent to conceal or aid the FEC violation; he didn't actually have to commit the FEC violation

Lmao at the Trumper cope ITT.
Brb.. it's going to backfire!
Brb.. he'll only grow stronger!
Brb.. the majority of the country WANT a felon in the White House!
But not really surprising when you you factor in that these people are willingly going to vote for a guy who tried to undermine the Constitution and his sworn oath to defend it when he tried to cheat and overthrow the 2020 election because he lost.

What is funny is at one point, they actually tried to argue that Trump never swore an oath to the constitution LMFAO. That was an actual argument he brought.
It's all coming undone. I am sure the diehard qanon nazi adjacent nutcases here will continue defending Trump, but after his conviction, support will rapidly fall, and Trump will panic and call for violence, and that's when we will win decisively and crush this fascist movement once and for all.
Expect a meltdown of epic proportions. The "Christian" right is going to utterly collapse and people will abandon their false prophets in droves and lower their heads in shame, realizing they were so easily conned by such a wretched creature.
