Do guys actually do this?

I've never planned a date beyond just googling a bar that's close to us both and setting a time. If it goes well, we either go to the next bar or to her/my place. What else is there?

Ive done fairs / live music before as first dates. It’s mainly things I want to do, and then think it’ll be funner with a hot girl by my side. New restaurants are a big first date one for me too, but mainly because I personally want to eat there, etc. And I always involve something drink compatible with first / second dates
