    Why would go that heavy? 50s, 60s, for laterals? Seems a bit fraud-ish. Either that or you're asking for trouble injury wise.


    I keep them light. I don't think I've ever gone above 20lbs for laterals. I just do more reps on this exercise.

    You'll make way more gains using lighter weight with good form than using massive dumbells. Your medial delts can grow on very light weight. It's not like training chest or legs.

    I do Dumbell lateral raises in the 6-10 rep range (sometimes add dropset too) and then I do cable lateral raises in the 12-15 rep range

    Cable lateral raise feels so fukin good mang.
