I'm not as high on Levine as others are.
He wrote a great game with System Shock 2
Then he made Bioshock and he literally used the same story as SS2 but got away with it because casual gamers never had played SS2
He wasn't involved with Bioshock 2 which was the best in the series imo.
For Bioshock infinite he had to do something different but went for the "twist" again and this time it didn't land and the story was just a mess.
He's kind of the M. Knight Shamaylan of gaming in my opinion, you might get something great but his record is far from the 100% that his reputation would indicate.

I've played all his games and never really liked SS1 or 2. SS2 was ok but Bioshock 1 was his best IMO.
Despite this, I still say that the Prey remake on the space station is the best Bio/System shock game that Ken never made but probably wishes he did. It took everything great with the Bio/System shock games and mashed them together into a nice and cohesive narrative with great level design.Sig line can't be a novel
