Sometimes a health scare is better than the alternative. Wife had a lump on her thyroid that started out as a health scare. We did ultrasounds for a couple years. Once it got to a certain size they wanted to do a biopsy. First one (or two?) came back negative. A year or two later one came back atypical. Did the first surgery to remove half her thyroid along with another biopsy that was conclusive that it was cancer. Did another surgery to get the other half. No recurrences for 6 or 8 years so that's good at least.

I noticed changes in my breathing after living in a basement for over a year, I sometimes get this short term dyslexia and chronic fatigue/ detachment from reality feeling which i think stems from lack of oxygen to my brain from my lung issues but idk wtf it is. I don't even smoke maybe it's lung cancer who fuking knows I can't be bothered to go to the doctor and check fuk it

For about a week when I was a freshman in high school we thought I had cancer. When my parents told me was the only time I ever saw my dad wearing sunglasses in the house. After further testing, false alarm.
Years ago I was in the backseat in a near fatal car accident, no seat belt on. I was banged up good, had some scars on my face that eventually went away, double vision for a couple months. The most intense workout soreness x50 over a lot of my body. More details, but that's enough.
Less than a decade later I got hit by a SUV while out running. Thankfully it had just lightly rained, as I slid a long distance after the dude hit the brakes. Not any kind of fun I'd recommend. Too many details.Last edited by frankdtank20; 03-25-2024 at 09:08 PM.

When I was younger I got drunk and thought it would be a good idea to parachute off of my parents roof using a bed sheet. I was making a practice run and slipped and fell bouncing off of two roofs and landed on my stomach. I couldn’t feel anything but could see the blood coming out of my mouth. It was new years and I was alone but could hear the fireworks going off in the background as I thought to myself great. Everyone is having fun and here I am paralyzed. Then I could feel the bad pain in my stomach and crawled to my bedroom where I began to drink again. Hurt for a little while but somehow I was ok I think
