Yeah there seemed to be more substantial stuff further down like studies contradicting some things. The author of the article is biased and lay so it isn't worth much, but the studies are legit. Like I said, I'd rather see what the medical community as a whole says.

Nope. I've seen climate advocates also misunderstand the science too. It bothers me when people forget these are atmospheric physics questions. They aren't about feelings.

Regarding the trans chit, I realize some of those emails make things look bad, but to ultimately determine whether gender affirming care works, you need a lot more data. Most of the studies I have seen suggest it is working better, on average, than not. But I'm not a reproductive medicine doctor so I will defer to their rebuttal, if they make one.

They understand this, but are just reluctant to move from their previously stated position(as everyone is, though some are more reluctant than others…and there are good habits people should employ to maintain an open mind that is able to change to a more sound position).


The fact that we even got to this point(hormones and gender mutilation for kids and teens) is absolutely absurd, but I am somewhat optimistic that at least there seems to be a move away from that approach. Others will catch up eventually, they just need to do so in their own time. I mean, we’re talking about someone who spent three years claiming that omicron is as severe as the delta variant(and ftr not taking about Wincel there because he is more open-minded and reasonable than that).
