This, though long term it's a pain in @ss. The smallest comfortable space I've lived in was just under 300sq.ft. It had a microwave but no hot plate and a large bar fridge.
The key is having a comfortable space outside of your living quarters/home. That way you treat your home as sleeping quarters and storage for the most part. So if you had a small mobile home with a nice deck where you could spend time or a capsule apartment with great amenity space, that would be very doable for most single people.2022 Option Trading Realized Gains: $125,348 USD

When I started the company, I liquidated everything I owned and rented a 400sqft studio that was conveniently located for travel. IIRC it was ~$700pcm

lol wut my smallest place was 630 sqft and that is small as fuk, 1 bedroom, small kitchen, living room. Own laundry. I will never live at a place that doesnt have my own laundry or bathroom.

Years ago I had a 2100 sq ft house.
I realized that I really only used about 600 sq ft of it. Moved to a 600 sq ft apt and its a fine fit.
I would like a but more space but dont really need it if I stay on top of stuff and dont let it accumulate.
Funny though that I am starting to finally outgrow it after like 10 years and am looking for twice the space now."To be a warrior is not a simple matter of wishing to be one. It is rather an endless struggle that will go on to the very last moment of our lives. Nobody is born a warrior, in exactly the same way that nobody is born an average man. We make ourselves into one or the other."-- Carlos Castaneda
