it actually is the english version of a chinese physics book that starts off very slow but is actually very thoughtful in the overall scheme of things

another reason why the bull is rising - lots of remakes of anime and chinese stuff which are actually legit

They did a very good job of adapting pre-written source material, although the deeper they got into it, I think the less accurate they got with picking and choosing which story lines and characters to promote or gloss over (like, yeah Bronn didn't need to be in every episode).

Without a good source material, they put out some of the worst television in history. Not sure I trust them to invest my time into something new, with so much good stuff out there. (note: as I read the thread, it is based off a book which at least one miscer said was good)

Still speaking of actually good TV for sure, on that note: Watch Shogun.

I agree, but unlike GoT all source material for this series is done. If it's only adapting existing material then I think they did a great job with GoT so have hopes for this one.

95% of TV shows and movies these days have a "strong female lead" and a group of "diverse" secondary characters. It's all so tiresome.

yeah yeah female empowered lead who is bulletproof, and tons of gay characters, diverse cast, white villains and 90% cast is black.

oh and put down conservatives now and then.

And apparently they made it into a comedy. no thanks.
