- Blocking cloud-streaming apps for things like video games that would lower the need for superior hardware
- Suppressing the quality of messaging between the iPhone platform and competing mobile platforms like Android
- Limiting the functionality of third-party smartwatches with its iPhones and making it harder for Apple Watch users to switch from the iPhone due to compatibility issues
- Blocking third-party developers from creating competing digital wallets with tap-to-pay functionality for the iPhone

DOJ and other "justice" departments are letting criminals go free and focusing their attention on going after anyone they can for any violations of their rules even if those enforcements cause more problems than the actual violations.

You make rules to prevent problems and make things go smoother. You enforce those rules to keep it that way. However, when your rules cause problems and enforcement causes more problems, it's counterproductive.

i dove into the apple ecosystem when blackberry went under.
i needed a phone for work and android was having issues with the work apps i needed.
when i need a new phone it's easy AF to move to it.
that's my only reason for having apple.

my fitbit is a little janky on it but i get by well enough.

one thing i've noticed about my apple devices vs android devices is my apple devices will get abandoned before they slow down to being annoying to use.
my android devices seem to need a complete a factory reset every 2 or 3 yrs and even then just don't perform like they used to.
it's like every update pushed out just makes them slower and slower until you are forced to root them and purge bloatware they force you to have on them or find a custom image with the bloatware removed.

however it is nice being able to sideload apps on the android tabs that i can't get on my iphone or ipad.
