I don't know if you've noticed, but most places even in low cost of living areas are offering pretty solid wages to get people in for poverty jobs like fast food and line retail work. The local Target is paying people like $18 an hour or some chit to run cash registers and stock shelves.

Sure let’s just forget that all countries allied with America have universal healthcare because the US taxpayer subsidizes weak countries military. We should pull back from the world and spend half what we do on the military for border patrol and rounding up illegals and shipping them back to their home country. Then even if it’s not tax payer funded the healthcare demand will drop drastically lowering prices back to 1990 levels (which absolutely mogged universal healthcare taxes in other countries).
