my 2nd favorite pizza is a boardwalk spot in wildwood Nj, "Macks Pizza" its been there for nearly 70 years and is legendary in the area. It's essentially a NY style slice. Cheesy, greasy, amazing sauce, delicious.

Frank Pepe is amazing, if you haven't had New Haven style pizza, its a must try.

My favorite NYC pizza's are probably Scarrs, L'industrie (Brooklyn), and Denino's (Staten island).

I’m stuck on the west coast but the executive chef for spago was a New York guy and the oven was designed by a European bricklayer who built the first authentic European wood fire oven for chez panisse a few years earlier, and the pizza is fukkin perfect.

But again, never had pizza on east coast. Don’t go to east coast.

They still exist. Usually it's surprisingly decent pizza for the price. However, they go up to like $4 per slice at night, which isn't worth it.
