Anyway, this fixation on "isms" isn't productive. Is Singapore communist? Is it capitalist? Does it matter? What ultimately matters is policies that work to alleviate the poverty and suffering of ordinary people. Concrete measures like education, life expectancy, access to clean water and food, healthcare, peace and security, and gainful employment ultimately measure the success of a state, not rhetoric or idealism.
What America has been doing for the last 30 years isn't working. We are moving backwards. In fact, our political system is strained and nearing collapse.

People on the left who are straight up commies are often taken in by the cult of personality of the major leaders. They have a lot of black and white thinking. They're unhappy about the government for various reasons and think it must be replaced.
They hear everyone will contribute what they can and they'll get what they need. That sounds great.
It just doesn't work and they don't appreciate how the ability to pursue happiness in a system like our own...which they currently enjoy...requires enshrined freedoms which will be quickly discarded in the system they want to promote.EX IGNORANTIA AD SAPIENTIAM

All those can be attained under any form of government, & yes, all forms of government should be striving for those, but communism fails to deliver that over & over again.
Let’s remember Mao won the civil war because of the Soviet invasion of Manchria. That is where the base industries of the Imperial Japanese Army were located at--all undamaged. Stalin gave it all intact to Moa
10 years of bloody civil war--including the 4 years AFTER Stalin handing Manchuria to Mao. Millions dead--and true to form of socialism, that was just the start

So much arrogance you aren’t even embarrassed to showcase how uneducated you are. Anyone with a clue will read this and immediately see you might not have even graduated high school. If you did, it was a terrible school. Even my 16 year old knows how stupid this is.

China has brought 850 million people out of poverty and risen to be the largest economy on Earth. This was under the leadership of the Communist Party China, using the ideology of socialism with Chinese characteristics, a form of market socialism. You can bitch and moan all day long, but you can't take this achievement from them. And they did it without putting 800+ bases overseas and spending 1 trillion dollars on a military to coerce and exploit other countries.

Nah. That's a common American narrative. China has its own system and principles. It isn't using neoliberal principles. If it did, the US wouldn't be so threatened by it. They still teach Marxism all over the place in China, and they still are strongly committed to socialism with Chinese characteristics and to eventually build a strong welfare state.
