Are you one of those casuals that are surprised that a 45 year old 5'7" 147lb Floyd with brittle hands couldn't stop a 6'2" 200lb man 20 years younger than him who was about 40lbs bigger than anyone Floyd had ever fought?

The size and age gap was massive, Paul fought purely to survive and Floyd was never a pressure fighter or great finisher even against guys his own age and size. It's not easy to break down a guy like that who is purely covering up and running, especially if you aren't a front foot dominant guy with power.
