Hi fellows,
Why can I squat more with the belt squat using a pin to hold the plates than a regular back squat. It is suppose to be the other way around!
Thank you in advance,

If you find a machine that limits stabilizer use and has less focus on form and complexity of movement is easier for you... that would be a good place to start. I know so many guys that love hack squats, leg press, hammer strength press, etc. All good accessory movements, but if the sport is powerlifting... then the accessories should be bringing up the weak points of your main lifts. It sounds like your choice of belt squats isn't the best for what you actually need in terms of a conjugate program, all it did was highlight the weaknesses of your regular squat.
Your accessory work now should be at fixing those weaknesses that are holding back your squat. Don't major in the minors!https://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=180003183&p=1635918623#post1635918623

I'm guilty of that sh*t too, waiting for somebody to powder my nuts cuz I did 20 reps of whatever the **** on the bench. Big f*king deal. It is all relative." G Diesel
