I asked because I tested it years ago when I used to run a lot. There were no discernible differences in any run under an hour if I didn't eat, but an espresso and hydration made a massive difference.
Same with the gym - the hydration anyway, if I go lift early the next day after a drinking session it's chitty.
Keep up the PT for your leg! Is your knee feeling better? Great that you can still do upper body work and motivate yourself to do that after surgery.

I can see that getting a better squeeze, but wouldn't you sacrifice width in the arm ROM? When I do pulldowns I like to go as wide as possible for maximum growth of lat width. Perhaps an alternation of the two might be ideal, but couldn't this also be achieved with close grip pull-ups to avoid the annoyance of switching between attachments?Back off, Warchild.

Legs from a fitness model friend and I think I’m going to die. Especially as she had me use the rowing machine after.
Mostly split squats on the Smith, ham curls, bad girl and good girl machines, leg press and this intestine glute press on the Smith.
I don’t even know what a lunch break is. There’s always some fire drill that prevents me from leaving my desk.Make It a Great Day! Just call me Dusty. It's a Clown 🤡 World out there.

Both days have 3 compound presses, where 1 is chest dominant, 1 is shoulder dominant and 1 is tricep dominant.
Tuesday and friday are broken up very differently to mon/thur. Today was BB squat, 45 degree leg press, weighted pullups, v-grip pulldowns and EZ bar bicep curls. Friday will be DL, BOR, hack squat (in a smith), EZ bar bicep curls and then multiple rear delt/row exercises with a double cable station.
Wed/sat/sun is swimming.Screw nature; my body will do what I DAMN WELL tell it to do!
The only dangerous thing about an exercise is the person doing it.
They had the technology to rebuild me. They made me better, stronger, faster......

Today I hit deadlifts. Trying to peak for a 700 attempt. Went up to 675 and wanted to do a triple but forgot chalk. Used straps but even with straps it was slipping from sweat. Powered it up for a solid single so happy with that and probably for the better... Then I did a couple sets of RDLs and then chest supported rows and lat pull downs to failure with some drop sets. Don't do drop sets a lot but was feeling a good pump.
Gonna deload next week, probably work up to 585 for a single and then back and lat work. Try for 700 the following week.I'm 33 not 51
