1pm today will be closing arguments in the Fanni Willis appearance of impropriety, and possible perjury , trial associated with her attempt to interfere in the 2024 presidential election.

If she isn't thrown out, then there were some serious shenanigans going on behind the scenes which need to be investigated. This is a slam dunk case. Fani and the others need to have their own investigation/trial for perjury, etc.

I listened to her. She didn’t do bad at all. She isn’t getting thrown out.

He texted very definitively that he knew exactly when it happened, and confirmed multiple times in text that it was all accurate. He even said he was nervous and that they would just deny it.

Then, between those texts and the trial, someone (i forget the name) in Fani's camp reaches out to him. The wife of this person works under Fani. Likely threatened him. Suddenly he has amnesia and can't remember anything. Anyone watching knew he was lying through his teeth.

Between the lack of paper trail of Fani's "cash," multiple people admitting that they were dating prior to him being hired, Cellphone data showing 1000s of calls and texts and him being at her house overnight on multiple occassions during the timeline in question, etc... Short of them admitting it under oath, this is a slam dunk.

Her actions are. And a special prosecutor should be hired to get to the bottom of the funds, the relationship, and them lying under oath.

OP called it a trial when he most likely (almost certainly) knows it isn't. It's a hearing.

Regardless I agree, she and Wade should be removed not only from the actual trail, but from their jobs as well.

The case doesn't disappear, but the case is trash and has been from the start. It was always going to take a corrupt DA and court to bring it along. It's quite possible that whoever takes it up next will come from a more partial region of Georgia and they could toss it if they think nothing is there. Or alter the charges. There is a lot that could happen.

Right now if I had to bet- it's a close call / but I would bet that she and the DA office is removed for "appearance of" impropriety - and not proved

Yeah I was just watching that exact conversation on MSNBC just now saying there is a possibility.

And I agree with your bet, I actually hope they both go. Otherwise it will validate Trump playing his victim card with corrupt prosecutors etc.

There are like 4 attorneys on the defense side. I'm glad he is limiting them to 90 minutes combined (instead of 90 mins individually). Those lawyers can go on and on and on

This. The trial won’t happen anyway whether Willis stays or not though. It’s a state case with no timeline. Trump is going to get re-elected in November then they won’t be able to prosecute a sitting President (yes I know he can’t pardon on state charges, but he can’t be tried either – it will get delayed until 2029).

A classified docs hearing was today as well. Judge Cannon grilled Jack Smith about his “unrealistic” trial date and has refused to set a new one so far. Libs on Twitter are PISSED lol.
