    All day labor + Workout

Hi everyone, I’m currently trying to build muscle with a new program.

The thing is, I work at an Amazon warehouse full time. And am lifting boxes for 10 hrs on those days. Will this affect my gains? Will I need to eat much more protein, carbs, and fat to make it possible?

I’m wondering if work will fatigue muscles too much. There are days where we burn a ton of freakin calories also.

    Thankyou

You’ll require more rest days more than likely. I’d look into fierce 5 novice or Lyle McDonald’s gbr. The gbr can be run on a rotating lower, upper, lower 3 day schedule..

Absolutely, working a physically demanding job like yours at Amazon and then hitting the gym is a double-edged sword. It's impressive but definitely requires some smart strategizing to ensure you're building muscle without overtaxing your body. Your intuition is spot-on about needing more fuel—more protein, carbs, and healthy fats to support recovery and muscle growth, and yes, to compensate for those calories you're burning throughout the day. It's also crucial to listen to your body. If you're feeling overly fatigued, it might be a sign to scale back a bit on the workouts or focus more on recovery practices. Remember, rest and nutrition are just as important as your workouts for making those gains
