Am I wasting my time trying to build up my latissimus dorsi muscle that was cut during surgery years ago and has lagged behind in development? Is there anything one can do build up damaged muscle or is it fruitless to try?

How much damage was done to the muscle and connective tissue? Unless you have some major limitations post surgery, there are usually benefits to strengthen the muscle and restore movement under the supervision of a health care professional.

I'm guilty of that sh*t too, waiting for somebody to powder my nuts cuz I did 20 reps of whatever the **** on the bench. Big f*king deal. It is all relative." G Diesel
