Absolutely love burgers and steak but find meatloaf absolutely disgusting. Anyone else not able to eat it?

its nasty and i dont see why anyone would make it. if you have ground beef you could make hamburgers, just cook it by itself, make meatballs ect. like anything besides meatloaf

It's not nasty... but it's not as good as just eating ground beef, so why do it?
Meatloaf was created by poors a long time ago when they couldn't afford much meat and wanted it to go farther, so they added bread and made it seem bigger so everyone could have "more". It's poor people food, and I'm not poor.

An alternative to meatloaf is picadillo which I would go out of my way to get.

Mother in law makes a Mexican meatloaf that is spicy and is the only meatloaf I'll eat these days. It is fabulous.
Whoever compared it to a big meatball is dead on. I've had so many meatballs that were mid at best and a few that were amazing. You just gotta find the right recipe/restaurant.
