Technically an expansion but given they're taking two fooking years to build it I think it will be huge. Could easily be half as big as the first game since they already had the engine and assets to work with.

No, you need to touch the withered arm or something to trigger the DLC so you just continue with your existing character at the end game.

Just finished game few days ago, been holding my char at lvl 150 since I heard it’s meta for PVP. Don’t have ps+ so haven’t done any yet but gonna do it here. Hope they give way more respecs. 16 isn’t enough for all the chit I would want to try

Depends on if you started NG+. You need to be at Mohg's palace. That's where the DLC will begin.

If you didn't start NG+, just teleport over there and get started.

Just read a few details. Four new areas, basically the entire area is bigger than Limgrave. Ten boss fights in total. They have said that as usual, the boss fights will be brutal to live up to their usual legacy.
