Yeah it's been getting pretty hard to cope with, to where nothing besides indie games with simple graphics makes any sense on it anymore. The hardware is hopelessly outdated, it's in dire need of an upgrade. I am not even going to bother with Switch games anymore, Steam Deck is where I'll be getting most of my new portable games.

A French close friend of mine - gamer chick, owns XBX and Switch. We crossplay a lot, but she also plays a lot of single player games. She said she is disappointed with Switch, not just the graphics but everything loads so slow.

When we play Dead By Deadlight, her game loads same time as me when she plays on her Xbox, but on Switch, I have to wait a long time for her to load up. She just bought it cuz she is a big fan of Pokemon.

No schit? It's not a competitor with PS5/XBSX and they aren't a competitor with Switch. Switch focuses on a completely different niche of games and dominates that market. They aren't trying to be competitive from a graphics/performance standpoint with the top flight games that are on PC/PS5/XBSX. It's the reason I went to an XB360 in 2009; the sports games on the Wii just weren't getting it done for me so I switched. Then I got hooked on modern multiplayer shooters and that was it.

But that doesn't mean Nintendo's console is trash or useless, and to point out a game looks terrible on it that really isn't made to be on it is like saying the sky is blue. If you want the best graphics go for PC or PS5/SX. If you want Nintendo Exclusives or the best casual/party games then go for Nintendo.
