I was speaking with a friend who has a PS5 at work and I asked him what exclusives he had played that would warrant getting a PS5.
He named a few, like Ghost of Tsushima (haven't played), Horizon Forbidden West (haven't played), etc.
But then we spoke about gaming in general and somehow, neither of us have much on our horizon.
I'm considering Dragon's Dogma 2 when it releases, I'll be buying Baldur's Gate 3 soon. But in general, I can't think of many games on the horizon that I'm interested in. Yeah, the next Dragon Age, Mass Effect etc., sure. But I was thinking of building a new PC around the RTX 5 series next December and realized I don't have games I'm considering building that around.
What games are you folks looking forward to most in 2024?

DO NOT PLAY Forbidden West if you haven't played Zero Dawn first. It's a direct continuation following major reveals in the first game.
That said, since Forbidden West is coming to PC in a couple weeks maybe now is the best time to try Zero Dawn. I'm sure it's cheap on Steam.▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ஜ۩۞۩ஜ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

Yeah the future of gaming is looking bleak. I really hope they can do better than what they've done this gen. Most of the games i play are legit older games now smh. Have a ton on Steam though.

I had heard about Hades 2 from my brother, not the others. On Steam though:
I mean, I'm not sure if it's me, or if it's the gaming scene: I just don't feel like there are many big games on the radar.
I was tempted to go back and re-play Cyberpunk, heh. I blasted through it at release then dropped it. But it's weird how there aren't more highlight games out there. I tried Palworld and get the appeal but, not really my kind of game.

EA Sports College Football is about the only one for this year lol. I've been playing Palworld that's been fun so I guess that counts as that was this year. I'll give MLB the Show 24 a download but if they didn't add significant features to Dynasty mode I'll just stick with 23 as I don't want to set up a roster and all the created players again. I'll eventually start Ark Survival Ascended as well, just waiting for the mods/maps I want to be added.
There's a chance there's something I'm unaware of that pops up that I might get, but as far as new games that's it. I've got a handful on my wishlist that I'm waiting for sales on but those aren't new.See Krackerjacked's sig

I can't wait.
TBH I was shocked by the first one when I played it on PC. Went spear heavy, then learned to go bow, lol. I loved the first one, srs. Forbidden West might be my game of the year.
I'm downloading Baldur's Gate 3 tonight, let's hope it lives up to Larian's pedigree. I really enjoyed DoS2. Sebille crew srs - my oneitis.
Listening to this at work srs.

Really it depends what you like. There's a few games from 2023 like Spider Man 2 I haven't bothered with yet until they go on sale. Just picked up Lies of P and I'm really enjoying it although it's much easier than I thought it would be.
If you like DoS2, Baldur's Gate, etc then FF 7 Rebirth would probably be up your alley. If you like Horizon series then I'd recommend Assassin's Creed series and games like Far Cry. Even Shadow of the Tomb Raider was open world enough to enjoy.
I'm also going to be picking up Hades 2 for sure, and probably Wo Long as well.

This. I'm just getting into SF6, and I STILL have Hanako waiting at embers, and I've even beaten Phantom Liberty in Cyberpunk. I'm looking forward to Rise of the Ronin though
@OP BG3 will keep you occupied for a long time while we wait for more things. Absolutely get Ghost of Tsushima. I wasn't a HUGE HZD fan, but a lot of people love it (edit: you enjoyed it, so Forbidden West is probably a must play for you).
Just saw you enjoyed DOS2, so yeah, BG3 will be right up your alley. Makes my dick extremely hard for the eventual DOS3.***The Misadventires of Gandalf the Black***
