Idk I can't tell if its a global problem or not maybe you're right. - Simulation theory. Someone just messing with everything.

remember hearing somewhere that being in the E.U. you have to let in xxx amount of immigrants or some chit. But everything I hear about E.U. sounds like some we give you money and you have to do this chit and you have to vote and allign with this or we will phuk you up some how economically or other means.
