meanwhile reid has had playoff runs with 4 or 5 different QBs including not that great qbs like alex smith, donovan mcnabb, and michael vick. He's never had talent like tom brady at QB. as soon as he mahomes he's in the super bowl every year.

This is a hard one to answer. Belichick's system and roster won the first 3 Pats rings. Brady carried them in the 2010s though. Reid made it work with more different guys at QB, including guys with vastly different styles. He didn't get his first ring until late in his career, but he now has 3 in a short span. Despite his playoff teams with several different guys, I feel like Reid will forever be associated with Mahomes's success now similar to Belichick and Brady, and Reid couldn't get it done until Mahomes. Belichick has the better total resume so he's still ahead for now. Who knows how much longer Reid will go. I do like him better than Belichick.
