I am not familiar with any research that would show someone who uses weed would have any type of advantage over someone who doesn’t.

Also one of the best highs my body ever experienced was at the end of a 14 mile run where I had smoked a couple joints during the run. I ran straight through my house to shower and everything just cascaded through my body like full body orgasm.

Vasodilator, yeah? Increases performance if taken in the right dosage and in the right method. Wouldn't recommend bonging on right before a heavy session. Could see the benefit in oil/edibles before general lifting/light or steady state cardio for sure

in cycling, on long rides, it can reduce pain and keep you going longer.

in gym, it makes you weaker as its a relaxant.

in office jobs, it helps you to a certain extent but then it just makes you less sharp.

if you're a creative person like writer or musician or philosopher then it can help you with more lateral thinking vs linear thinking but one might say creative people are more likely to consume weed.

i honestly think weed is antidote to performance, and if you want performance then look for stimulants.

modern marijuana is also highly potent and studies have shown it increases risk of psychosis or mental health issues with long term usage.

i am all for weed being legal but i dont like glorification of weed and overblowing its health benefits as its a recreational drug but its not good for thinking straight and being sharp.

i also think weeds effect on mass population will be studied in few decades and we will find lot of shocking societal behavioural changes especially in gen z and younger.

the olympics have banned a lot of pretty common, legal stuff, like cold medicine, or stuff you'd get from most preworkouts
but yeah depending on the sport and the person it could boost performance, it lowers anxiety numbs pain and increases focus for some. seems like a huge deal in shooting sports
