It was brought as a ballot measure by Republicans in Ohio and got shot down by the voters there just last year, as well.

That is something I've read a number of times over the last couple of years, Democrats ignore some federal laws, such immigration laws with sanctuary cities, GOP run states should do the same.

It will be interesting to see if we end up heading in that direction, where states pick and choose which federal laws and rulings they agree with, and which ones they will ignore.
