There's literally no point to having a government backed crypto. The only benefit of crypto is it's supposed to be completely untraceable and anonymous. Obviously no government crypto is going to be that way.

More companies will go cashless claiming that cash is a liability thanks to joggers. Then it will get to where not many busiensses take cash and then the government will claim what Biden is claiming now that cash is only used for illegal activity and avoiding taxes.

FDR in the 1930's made it illegal to own gold and made everyone sell their gold for some BS price. That's why a lot of gold coins are valuable because they were illegal for a while. He did this so he could print money and redistribute wealth. Don't be surprised if they do it again.

The real goal is so they can freeze your bank account and make it so you can't buy or sell.

Was looking at wallets on Amazon (slim/minimal) and wallet reviews on YouTube almost everyone says they never carry cash anymore or very rarely


Mostly American/ Canadians tho

This is what I don't get about crypto, isn't it built on the blockchain and the benefit of the blockkchain is everything can be tracked. So how is crypto untraceable?

UK/NL are more or less.

Germany and Southern/Eastern Europe cash is widely used.

in the UK also the government just pushed through regulations that anyone selling anything over £1000 in a year has to pay tax. eBay, vintage etc report it to the HMRC (tax office). so you will need an accountant to fill out the forms. or get a fine.
