    Headache after Push-up

    Hello
In last two days, I did Knee Push-Ups, 3 Sets 16/16/10, then I felt headache and I measured my blood precure I found it is 155/97, so I drunk Hibiscus juice and after 30 min my headache released and my blood pressure decreased.
In the next day I got the same issue. is this normal? if not what is the cause?

That is not normal. That blood pressure is pretty high. Do you get a high blood pressure with lifting when you don't have a headache or only when you get a headache?

    Decreased to what?

You sound like you should be doing some cardio instead of just pushups.

It doesn't sound like you are healthy enough to exercise. See your doctor and make sure you don't have a heart condition. Hibiscus juice is fine after your EKG says you don't need actual medicine.

This. That's a notably high BP. Said from that, I DO get exertion headaches and even migraines if I push too hard when lifting. This is especially true when I go to failure on push-ups. It's doubly bad because I always do them feet-elevated. If I feel it coming on now, I just don't push myself as hard.

I hope you're not srs, brah. You have an extremely high likelihood of having a stroke in the immediate future if that's true, and you should definitely be on medication.

Time to get off, if you are on. I can't think of anything else, you don't look of that age otherwise.

Hello! Everybody hope you all are doing well! So into my opinion Experiencing headaches and elevated blood pressure after knee push-ups could be due to factors like dehydration or improper breathing during exercise. While hibiscus juice may offer temporary relief, it's essential to consult a healthcare professional you can get a thorough assessment and personalized advice on managing blood pressure during exercise also you can refer to TheHealthyDart which is an great platform for health & exercises related information. Prioritizing your health and seeking professional guidance is crucial for a safe and effective exercise routine.

It's advisable to consult a healthcare professional to rule out underlying issues. Hydration, proper warm-up, and monitoring exertion levels during workouts are essential for overall well-being.
