You have to hide your true personality, views and essentially live a lie just to fit into the corporate culture.

Never had a job like that. There is a fine line you can't cross but I always test it a bit when starting out. Gotta know who you can mess around with and who you can't. My boss said something sexual to some sloot and I just knew he'd get written up. You need to have good social iq if you wanna make it fun, if not just talk about the weather.
Do not think that what is hard for you to master is humanly impossible; and if it is humanly possible, consider it to be within your reach.

So fkin true man. Becoming an officel is the most beta chit I’ve ever done and now my resume is just office work for the past 7 years, so it’s all I’m qualified to do at the level needed to earn a living. Can’t afford the financial hit becoming a tradie otherwise I’d be srsly tempted.
But yeah, I often feel ashamed of what I do for a living. I cringe having to tell people especially since I come from a working class family. My dad is a tradie. My grandpa was a tradie. All my friends are tradies. I feel like a failure despite earning more than them on paper. It doesn’t matter. It’s such a pussy job and I am being molded into a soft spoken PC bitch working in these environments.
I remember once in a review my boss asked me if I like my job and I responded “it’s alright, I mean it’s work.” They looked at me like I just said I love Hitler. I had to quickly backtrack and come up with some line of bullchit like “no I enjoy the work and the people, I just want to challenge myself learning more.”
I felt like such a cuck after that interaction. Being honest is looked down upon. Being masculine is looked down upon. It’s fkin sad.

This is really the problem. I work with mostly women and effeminate men, so I’m surrounded by cocksuckers gossiping in a corner every morning like school children. They talk chit, then smile in your face like bitches. I’d rather work with working class men who will tell you to fuk off, then get the job done by your side the rest of the shift. No bullchit.

A lot of people's entire strategy to move up is to essentially fuk over the successful, talented people who earned accolades through merit, then kind of dance around wearing their skin, taking credit for their ideas.
I love when I pitch an idea and it's shot down with animosity, then 9 months later the same conclusion is reached by all the people who shot it down in the first place. It's like they need to give birth to the idea themselves and can't stand giving anyone else credit that isn't in their little circlejerk.
Have noticed in many fields the commie culture is completely ruining the work environment. It's just all eggshells to tiptoe on and cutthroats to dodge nowadays.
