    it's a pretty niche industry and he's got a good skillset, so he's not quite on the level of those tiktokers. But it's extremely cushy living in California and not having to commute everyday. Basically the best of both lives. I can see why techies and office-drones are so venomous and unhinged when someone proposes an end to WFH. Especially during the tail end of the "pandemic," you saw a lot of panic and lashing out at companies asking them to return to offices.

    I mean, I can understand if a company doesn't want PC based workers to WFH full time, but making someone come on-site 5 days a week is straight up not necessary.

    Maybe if you have very good systems/processes and the work is very straightforward, otherwise putting your revenue in the hands of an inexperienced junior sounds like a bad af idea
