Notice how she said ever since you guys took over or something to that effect.
Tells me their company was bought out. There is always some realignment when this happens so they should have probably anticipated some cuts coming their way."To be a warrior is not a simple matter of wishing to be one. It is rather an endless struggle that will go on to the very last moment of our lives. Nobody is born a warrior, in exactly the same way that nobody is born an average man. We make ourselves into one or the other."-- Carlos Castaneda

it's a pretty niche industry and he's got a good skillset, so he's not quite on the level of those tiktokers. But it's extremely cushy living in California and not having to commute everyday. Basically the best of both lives. I can see why techies and office-drones are so venomous and unhinged when someone proposes an end to WFH. Especially during the tail end of the "pandemic," you saw a lot of panic and lashing out at companies asking them to return to offices.

Lol, all these fat whales being laid off currently have nothing going for them as well!
Listen, change isn't always a bad thing. These women are clearly obese and entitled, so this should be the kick in the ass they all need to improve their lives.
Obviously change isn't pleasant. Most people are perfectly being fat and content with life. But that's not how any of this works, and they all need to reflect on things and hopefully they'll come out on top.

and on site people cost way more, gossip all day, surf the web, demand more benefits/$ cuz of their 2 hour commute each day, plus office cost.
Also you can't hire stellar workers, cuz they got for remote jobs cuz they know their worth. So you're left with bottom fo the barrel. And even if you have stellar workers, you're always worried the competition will poach them with remote work.
Has nothig to do with "what workers like". It's about competition and recruiting the best. $$$.Weight Loss: Go carnivore or keto combined with 16/8 IF. It'll create easy calorie deficit. Meat is good and heals, stop being lied to.

Stellar workers aren’t sitting at home trying to do as little as possible for as much hourly pay as possible.
The absolute best workers out there are likely starting their own companies and making huge personal sacrifices to add as much value to society as possible, none of which can be done from home in your pyjamas
