What a card
I think Pereira will catch Jiri with his hands low, KO
Aspinall will go for a takedown pretty quickly and sub rd 1. He's a cerebral fighter and there's no way you want to stand and test your luck with Pavlovich.
Rooting for Slava Claus also, great hands and hopefully he's improved his wrestling even more
Diego Lopes fight gonna be an underrated banger on this one. Calling FOTN

taking a gamble on this one.
Isn't Jiri coming off a long injury after his last fight with Glover? Didn't he barely beat Glover?
Got Alex for this one.
Pavlovich vs Tom is hypeee. I like it better than Jones vs Stipe.
Got Pavlovich as he's been ready longer training as a back up fighter for Jones/Stipe, which means he had better been drilling the wrestling good.

Pav is on a full camp so I think he takes it. Aspinall has had like 2 weeks to properly train so I doubt he has the cardio for a grappling-heavy 5 rounder. Does he go through Pav like butter on the ground? I have no idea. Maybe.
I have a feeling Jiri is gonna take it due to his crazy style. Pereira is ma nikka but he does tend to get tagged and is at a big disadvantage if it hits the mat.

I honestly will be happy regardless of who wins. My gut says Sergei and Alex but it could easily be Tom and Jiri.
Tom would probably be HW champ if not for the freak knee accident against Blaydes but Sergei is a beast in his own right.
I’m leaning towards Alex because of what Glover did against Jiri, had he not gone for the sub, something Alex won’t do, he likely would have won.no crew crew

Kind of agree, he's so wild with his movement and hands that Alex might just catch him. Same with Pavlovich. Yes, he's KOed everyone but let's see his resume.
Lost to Overeem
Marcelo Golm (who is this guy?)
Maurice Greene(never a UFC caliber)
Shamil (41 years old)
Lewis (stand and bang guy, lost to Cyril and Tuivasa before fighting Sergei. Arguably past his prime since 2 years ago)
Tuivasa (stand and bang guy brawler, no technique. Fought like 3 months after getting KO'ed by Cyril)
Blaydes (I'll give him this, wrestler vs stand-up and Blaydes tried to stand up with him)
meanwhile Asp last 5 at least
Tybura 8-1 before fighting him
Blaydes (injury)
Volkov (beast, easily top 5 and could threaten the title in the future)
Spivac (great wrestler, decent top 10 guy)
Arlovski (hard to put away and got subbed by Asp, legend, past his prime but a great test for a new-ish HW)

well theres a good argument for Pavlovich that he's been ready for longer, as he's been the backup fighter for this event from the start
which means he's most likely been drilling TDD hard
and he probably has better hands than Tom
i think Pav's resume shows he can out strike the heavy hitters. Idk if thats true for Tom

styles make fights. Alex is a kickboxer who can get pressured in the grappling easier, this leaves him open to strikes and levels the playing field
IMO also alex chin is worse at this point in his career. I can see Jiri taking his best punch and not getting koed, i can't see Jiri getting kod by israel
thing is Pavlovich doesn't have 1 punch ko power, at least not that i've seen. He's kod fat guys that have no way of dealing with his offense. If Tom shoots a takedown and gets clipped he'll probably still be fine.
Tom will play outside a bit with leg kicks, pop in with a 1 2 after a feint and then after another feint hit the tdd and sub him. It's HW so anything can happen ofc
