If you're really interested in saving people you should be fighting for fast food, sugary cereal, candy, desserts, fried foods etc to be removed from society. Sure you can argue those people do it to themselves and you wouldn't be wrong, but people clearly can't be trusted to do the right thing. It's not different than letting them have guns. Let them have food choices that are easy to lead to poor health and they abuse it to the point of obesity, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease. And they do it on a monumental level compared to the abuse of firearms.

Let's be honest, civilization does not need these types of foods floating around. Any food where the calories are too easy to rack up quickly. Sodas and alcohol absolutely should be stricken as options too.

We would all be better for it if these were not within arms reach. Dead serious. Think about how much happier and healthier this world would be.

A key difference between first world and third world countries is whether it is indeed wild that most people don't get shot at the mall or if it is completely normal that noone gets shot at the mall.
